Description:
When the Thornton family moves to the country to renovate an old farmhouse, Dion discovers an old diary in the basement written by a boy very much like himself. That earlier boy's dearest wish had been to carry his father's black hunting whip in the Guildford Horse Show. Dion sets himself to find the black hunting whip and carry it in the same show himself, as a tribute to the boy diarist. The search for the whip and the preparation for the show involve the entire family. This is a wonderful story about country life and enjoyable by everyone!
