Description:
This is the third book in the My Friend Flicka series, but for some reason seems to have been forgotten. Ken, the boy from My Friend Flicka, has grown into a teenager, fast moving into the adult world. He meets Carey Marsh, the young owner of a valuable race mare who has been lost off a train and has escaped into the mountains. Ken falls in love, but there are lots of trials and tribulations to go through. I wouldn't call this a kid's book, but could be listed as young adult.
