not a bad read, by spike25 on October 22, 2007
I think as horse people we all get a bit too picky on our reading but this book was an ok read. Fairly accurate and readable. Characters have flawas but don't we all!

Started this book with great excitement. First few chapters are great, then the heroine began to grate on me. Can't believe anyone could be so dumb and still manage horses.
A bit Unrealistic..., by stitch on April 23, 2005
The central character flies off the handle much too easily, imho. Also, her wrap up re: the striped horse was just too cheesy. Story had great potential but not terribly realistic.
