Description:
Clara moves to West Wales to start a new life after a disastrous old one. Taking a charity job covering maternity leave, she plans to hide out until she is ready to return to her London life. Alone in Wales, she is all set to spend six months in contemplation, but nothing is as she imagined. The charity is battling local council plans to build a fish farm in the bay and the argument has divided the community. The charity office is attacked, the car burnt out and when a fishing boat sinks all eyes turn accusingly to the green terrorists of the village. Country life is also not as quiet as she thought. She makes friends with her neighbour who runs a horse riding school and has ambition to ride for the Olympic team. They discover they have a lot in common including a preference for a good glass of red wine and some of the local men. Life becomes very complicated when Clara rescues an abused horse and just when it could not get worse - on the same weekend - police arrive to question her about her boyfriend's mysterious disappearance in South America.
