Equine Art by Elaine Lindelef
Elaine Lindelef has been creating horse-inspired art since she was a young girl. Even school art projects that were not supposed to include horses usually have a horse in them somewhere. As a child she played with model horses, and as a teenager learned to use them as a beginning source for art - melting and cutting and twisting, resculpting, and painting them into completely new horses. Eventually she learned to sculpt completely from scratch, using wire armatures and either self-hardening epoxy or wax-based clay.
Elaine is not taking commissions at this time.

Popsicle stick sculpture created for an "Iron Chef" style contest in 2003.
